Pocahontas and Goofy are BACK at Disney’s Animal Kingdom Today!
We love visiting Disney’s Animal Kingdom and seeing our favorite Disney characters!
And while we were sad to learn that the flotillas had recently ended, we were ecstatic to find out about the return of two of our favorite character meet and greets.

Pocahontas and Goofy are BACK at Disney’s Animal Kingdom, and we are bringing you a first-look!
Meet and Greets
Guest Relations confirmed that there were plenty changes as of today, and shared a few more updates with us.
Character Flotillas have ended, but Timon and Rafiki are going to be at Rafiki PlanetWatch next month for 30th Anniversary Lion King Celebration. In addition, Goofy is back at DinoLand (his pre-pandemic location).

And Pocahontas will be doing pop-up meet and greets in The Oasis.

Our first stop was to visit Pocahontas.

This location creates the perfect backdrop with its surrounding trees, fresh greenery, and neutral stones.
Meet and greet
Pocahontas looks great posing and smiling for the camera! She appears in her iconic apparel and is waving and interacting with all of her fans.
Pocahontas is making appearances between 9:15 AM and 4:00 PM today.
Don’t forget, this is a pop-up experience, so if you are lucky enough to be at Animal Kingdom today, definitely head over to The Oasis to meet her.

And while you are visiting characters, make time to stop by and see Goofy in DinoLand, U.S.A. He is meeting and greeting at Chester and Hester’s near the back of the building.

Goofy is dressed in outdoor gear and ready for a day of adventure But for now he is having fun and meeting with guests from 10 AM to 5 PM.

Make sure to smile and pose with Goofy in this colorful outdoor location. We love the additional prop with binoculars, books, maps, and more – what a fun pic.

Just as we were heading out, we caught a glimpse of another one of our Disney faves!

Pluto is also doing meet and greets at Chester and Hester’s in Animal Kingdom.
