PHOTOS: New Awnings and Signage Added to Blue Ribbon Corn Dogs in Disney World
If you have been following along here at MickeyBlog, then you know that we have been closely following the construction of Blue Ribbon Corn Dogs at Disney’s BoardWalk Resort.
Originally announced last July, the new quick-service stand will replace the BoardWalk to Go kiosk on the BoardWalk’s promenade.
Since the new stand was announced, progress on the eatery has moved slowly. The last time we checked in, however, new signage had been installed.
Blue Ribbon Corn Dogs is already a popular locale in Disneyland’s Downtown Disney, but soon, it will bring its unique twists on corn dogs to Walt Disney World.
Well, I am happy to report that when visiting Disney’s BoardWalk Resort, even more progress has been made on Blue Ribbon Corn Dogs, and the location looks almost ready to open!
New Awnings Have Been Added
The last time we saw the Blue Ribbon Corn Dogs marquee, the stand’s main sign had been installed.
Now, however, two smaller signs reading “Lemonade” and “Cotton Candy” have been added to the exterior.
Also adorning the building are new blue and white awnings. These really bring the color scheme of the stand together.
The same awnings have been added to the side of the structure, as have other signs advertising lemonade, corn dogs, and cotton candy.
The new awnings match Boardwalk Inn, which is located across the promenade!
When Will Blue Ribbon Corn Dogs Open?
By the looks of things, it shouldn’t be long now until Blue Ribbon Corn Dogs finally opens.
I, for one, can’t wait!
