A Magical NEW Disney Dreamlight Valley Update is Coming May 1st
Calling all Disney Dreamlight Valley adventurers! Gameloft’s magically immersive cozy adventure game is about to get EVEN BETTER!

Since the game’s launch in 2022, Gameloft has released several impressive free updates, along with an impressive paid expansion in December 2023.

We’ve seen the addition of favorite Disney characters like Simba and Nala from The Lion King, Rapunzel from Tangled, and most recently, Sulley and Mike from Monsters, Inc.

Luckily for fans, Disney Dreamlight Valley will continue to deliver its special brand of dreamlight magic at least through the end of the year. And the game’s newest update — set to release next week on May 1st — may be the most magical yet!

A Magical Valley Update
Disney Dreamlight Valley offers a free-to-play base game, along with a paid expansion entitled “A Rift in Time.” Next week’s update will include new free content as well as an exclusive update for players who have purchased the expansion.

The free “Frills and Thrills” update features the “Day at Disney” Star Path.
The upcoming Star Path will allow players to earn Disney Parks-inspired rewards like this colorful Inside Out-inspired spinner ride.

We will also see the addition of Daisy Duck, who will unlock the much-anticipated Touch of Magic Boutique, where players will be able to create unique designs…and share them with friends via the game’s multiplayer feature!

While the game’s multi-player capabilities have so far been fairly limited, the new Dreamlight Valley update will allow players to trade Touch of Magic designs, take selfies with other players, and interact with objects within another player’s world.

Meanwhile, players will FINALLY get to board those iconic Disney Parks rides – and the new camera function will even allow for in-ride selfies!

This exciting camera functionality will reportedly work on both existing and upcoming Disney Parks rides.
“A Rift in Time” Update
Players who have purchased “A Rift in Time” will also enjoy exciting new content exclusively for Eternity Isle!

In “Act II: The Spark of Imagination,” players will further explore Eternity Isle and delve deeper into the lore and storyline of the expansion.
Of course, the update will also bring another new Disney character into the Dreamlight Valley fold!

Oswald the Lucky Rabbit, who was created in 1927 by Walt Disney and Ub Iwerks, is set to join the Valley. Oswald’s quest line and house are both inspired by the Silent Film Era and lean into his classic, old-timey vibe.
