Florida Man Arrested After Sparking Fight By Making Fun of a Walt Disney World Guest With Down Syndrome
A Florida man was arrested after sparking a fight with four guests at a Walt Disney World bar.
Brent George was arrested and charged with four counts of battery after a fight broke out at the Belle Vue Lounge inside Disney’s BoardWalk Inn on January 25.

Here’s What Happened
The incident reportedly began when George went over to a table of four guests and started making fun of a woman with Down syndrome. The 61-year-old was intoxicated after having just three shots of bourbon and a beer.

The girl’s mother then confronted George, too, and asked if he was making fun of her daughter. At this point, George stood up and allegedly shoved her twice. He then slapped another guest in the face at the table when she tried to intervene.
The husband of the woman who was slapped then got involved, and George allegedly punched him in the neck. The husband then punched George in the neck.

The incident ended when a bystander grabbed George and removed him from the scene.
George Was Booked at Orange County
When deputies arrived at the scene just after 9:00 p.m., George claimed that he had been hit in the face by a glass cup. He allegedly told officers that he did not remember what had happened as he was intoxicated. He also said that he was having a “good time with the individuals, and then he was attacked by them.”
One witness claimed he saw an individual throw a glass cup at George, however officers determained that there was no broken glass on the scene and do not believe a glass cup was a part of the incident.

He was then evaluated by medical staff for the injury he sustained and transported to the Orange County Jail.
