This is Possibly the Best Caramel Apple We’ve Ever Seen in Disney World!
There is definitely no shortage of sweet treats when it comes to Disney World! They’re literally almost around every corner.
You can get classics like Dole Whip or more unique offerings like the limited-time treats we see seasonally. And now, it’s time to try out a new dessert over in EPCOT!
Mickey Lederhosen Caramel Apple
This is the new Mickey Lederhosen Caramel Apple from Karamell-Küche in the Germany Pavilion!
It’s a Granny Smith apple with marshmallow ears dipped in Wether’s Original Caramel and milk chocolate, then decorated with green sprinkles and topped with a Tyrolean fondant hat for $12.99.
Okay, we’re stating the obvious here, but isn’t this treat absolutely adorable?! I mean it’s wearing Lederhosen — it doesn’t get much more on-brand for Germany than that.
The green sprinkles almost make it look like it’s glittering, especially in the sunshine!
The attention to detail is just remarkable. It almost looks too good to eat…almost.
Even though the design is exceptional, the actual taste of the treat is pretty standard. It’s just like most other caramel apples you can get in Disney World!
The chocolate was delicious and melted enough to make it creamy.
The sugar sprinkles on the outside gave it an interesting texture, but we do think this treat definitely leans more on the sweeter side! It might be too much if you don’t have a sweet tooth.
The sprinkles will also make a bit of a mess, so watch out for that! They might even stain your hands.
This is also a great treat to split with someone else since it is pretty big.
The hat decoration on top just tastes like colored white chocolate. Nothing notable, but still tasty!
Overall, this is a fun treat spin on a caramel apple that will look great in pictures and is more unique than the standard ones we see all the time in the parks.
