Disney
With so many amazing options, you can enjoy more stress-free time with your family, relaxing and having fun. Let’s take a closer look at the great transportation options available for you.
Buses
Walt Disney World Buses are one of the easiest modes of transportation to spot around the property. Thanks to the Cast Members driving these iconic buses, traveling from your Disney Resort hotel to your destination is super easy.
New busses
If you were lucky enough to visit recently, you probably noticed some of the amazing new designs!
Disney bus
In addition to new features like charging stations and updated accessibility for guests in wheelchairs and mobility devices, new bus wraps have debuted, and they look great.
From Zootopia to Ratatouille, 101 Dalmatians, and more, these new wraps add more fun and color to your experience.
You can’t come to Disney World without going on a monorail.
Monorail
Three separate lines travel throughout the resort, connecting Magic Kingdom hotels, two theme parks, and the Transportation and Ticket Center.
The best part? It is complimentary!
Disney Skyliner
This is one of the newest complimentary transportation options and definitely one of the most fun. The Disney Skyliner transports guests in colorful gondolas from several Disney Resort hotels to Disney’s Hollywood Studios and EPCOT.
Disney Skyliner
Soar high above the sky and experience incredible views in a smooth ride featuring your favorite Disney characters.
Water Transportation
Guests have a few water options to choose from! The first is water taxis, a unique form of transportation that travels to four Disney Resort hotels and quickly connects guests.
Ferryboats are another great option that also connects Magic Kingdom to the Transportation and Ticket Center, and the FriendShip Boat makes EPCOT and Disney’s Hollywood Studios easily accessible.
And don’t forget the Sassagoula River Cruise, which is accessible from four Disney Resort hotels and travels to Disney Springs! All of these are great and nothing beats relaxing with a breeze, gliding over pristine waters, and taking in the views.
More Transportation Options
A few additional options are offered on Disney property that are not complimentary but are still great forms of transportation.
For guests wanting access to their own car, there is a car rental facility on the property with preferred car rental partners: Enterprise, Alamo, and National.
In addition, guests have access to a convenient, complimentary shuttle with door-to-door service from Disney Resort hotels to the facility.
Did you drive your own vehicle to a Disney Resort hotel? Don’t forget you receive complimentary parking at the hotel and all theme parks!
BonusTransportation Tip for Magic Kingdom
Technically a transportation option, though only at Magic Kingdom, guests should definitely experience the Walt Disney World Railroad.
Railroad
This scenic and gentle attraction provides spectacular views of attractions and scenes along the Rivers of America. The 20-minute round-trip journey is a great way to relax and travel between lands.
