New Casting Call Confirms Hocus Pocus Villain Spelltacular Will Return For Halloween
While we are still almost seven months away from Halloween, I have good news for all my spooky season fans out there.
Walt Disney World is already hard at work planning this year’s Halloween festivities and, according to a new Disney Careers posing on a fan-favorite holiday show, will be returning again this year.
That’s right! Disney is currently accepting online submissions for vocalists for this year’s Hocus Pocus Villain Spelltacular.
What Is ‘Hocus Pocus Villain Spelltacular’
A fan-favorite entertainment offering at Mickey and Minnie’s Not So Scary Halloween Party, the Hocus Pocus show is exclusively performed during the hard ticket event.
“The mischievous Sanderson Sisters from Disney’s ‘Hocus Pocus” return to the mortal world during the Halloween season. With only a few hours to run amuck, the three sisters use their magic to throw the best, most evil Halloween party this side of the graveyard.”
The Roles Disney Is Casting For
Disney is currently casting for the roles of all three Sanderson Sisters. Each is given a brief description in the posting:
Winifred Sanderson: The leader of the Sanderson sisters and the main antagonist. She is the eldest and the wickedest of the sisters, as well as the most intelligent. She is very sensitive to people calling her ugly and she is prone to being melodramatic.
Mary Sanderson: The middle sister, is often complimenting and comforting Winifred as she constantly seeks her approval. She has the ability to sniff out the presence of children and loves to eat. She is the most observant of the three and she sports a crooked mouth.
Sarah Sanderson: The youngest and most beautiful Sanderson sister. She is not particularly intelligent, and she is often prancing around and goofing off. Sarah uses a siren-like ability to lure children through song. She loves to play with people and hates those who reject her.
According to Disney, rehearsals for Hocus Pocus Villain Spelltacular will begin in mid-July, and the show will once again run during Mickey’s Not So Scary Halloween Party on select nights from August to October 31.
