Trash Cans Make the Best Pin Traders at EPCOT!
Have you ever really pin traded at Disney, if you’ve not pin traded with a trash can?
A Unique New Way to Pin Trade
While exploring EPCOT this morning, our MickeyBloggers’ Disney Pin Trading senses started tingling.
We’ve known for a while that Cast Member pin trading is coming back to Walt Disney World this spring for a while now, but a new discovery here in EPCOT has gone and given us an early start to our trading adventures!
Well, everyone, meet Pinster here! This fun guy is a returning member of the Disney Pin Trading community… while also being a trash can!
Our MickeyBloggers spotted him over in the World Showcase, accompanied by an attendant and a group of guests already excitedly admiring his pin selection. Let’s head closer to get a better look!
As you can see, Pinster looks like your average Disney Parks trash can, yet is covered with cork board panels full of trade-able pins. He even has his own Custodial Cast Member name tag!
On his boards, we can see tradeable pins including Hidden Mickey, 2024, Tsum-Tsum, and many other fun and quirky designs.
As we’re in EPCOT, there’s plenty of park-inspired pins on the board too – and we’re sure the collection will get more and more exciting as guests continue the trading cycle!
We’re pleased to report that Pinster here isn’t the only trading trash can returning here to EPCOT, as our reporters also found that Pinny and Pinelope are also hanging out around the World Showcase.
Be sure to pay them a visit during your next around-the-world trip – and don’t forget your pin lanyards ready to trade!
