New “Peter Pan’s Flight” Collection of the “Mickey Mouse: The Main Attraction” Series Soars into Magic Kingdom
Here we go!
It’s an exciting day at the Magic Kingdom, as the next collection from the “Mickey Mouse: The Main Attraction” series has finally soared into the Emporium!
This newest collection is inspired by all the wonder and pixie-dust of Peter Pan’s Flight – a fan-favorite Fantasyland attraction that we couldn’t wait to see represented in this annual collectible series!
A few weeks back, we did see this particular collection fly online on to shopDisney. However, this is the first time we’re spotting these items in the parks, and we were excited to get up-close and show you what we found!
Each month, the series release includes a plush, a key, a pin, a Loungefly mini backpack, and a Mickey Ear headband, all be released to the theme of a particular Disney Parks attraction. Let’s start by taking a look at the plush, shall we?
Mickey Plush
This adorable, pie-eyed Mickey Plush is dressed in a gorgeously starry outfit, as though he’s ready to take a trip aboard a flying pirate ship to Neverland.
Mickey’s coat is a rich, navy blue in color, dotted with golden stars to make it look like the night’s sky. Best of all, his matching hat even has a red feather tucked into the band, just like Peter Pan’s signature look!
Further details on this adorable collectible plush include an embroidered “Second Star to the Right” icon on Mickey’s ear, a flying pirate ship embellishment, and a patch with the “Mickey Mouse: The Main Attraction” logo stitched to his foot.
There’s even the logo for the 50th Anniversary of Walt Disney World embroidered in gold on Mickey’s ear, making this an extra-special souvenir from this year’s celebration!
We love this adorable Mickey plush, and we’re sure it will be very popular now it has arrived at the Magic Kingdom.
Loungefly Mini Backpack
The next item we found in this collection was this adorable mini backpack by Loungefly.
After all, you can’t have a special, themed merchandise release at Disney without a matching Loungefly now, can you?
This navy blue and gold backpack is simply stunning, and dreamy enough to make us think it flew over here from Neverland itself.
In classic Loungefly backpack style, this structured bag has one main compartment, and a smaller section, bedazzled with sequins, on the front.
The bag has ears and “buttons” to represent Mickey Mouse – it’s his collection after all – but with lots of sweet, Peter Pan-inspired touches that we simply adore!
For instance, printed on each “ear” are graphics including a golden silhouette of Tinker Bell, and the iconic “Second Star to the Right.”
The whole bag is dotted with stars, and there’s a magical graphic of a flying pirate ship on the front, soaring over the dreamy blue night-time clouds.
There’s even a charming London skyline silhouette printed along the sides of the bag, reminding us of the soaring scene from the attraction!
This backpack really is beautiful – will you be adding it to your Loungefly collection?
Mickey Pin
The next item we have to show you is one for the pin collectors!
It’s this adorable Mickey Mouse pin, in which the main mouse is wearing the same outfit as the plush we showed you above. It’s a really cute and classy pin to add to your collection, and matches the rest of this series’ releases perfectly!
Mickey Key
Finally, the last item we have to show you is this collectible key. Like the rest of the items in this series, the key is a navy blue and gold in color, featuring a starry sky, flying pirate ship, and soaring silhouettes of our favorite characters from Peter Pan.
The detail on this key is really cool – with the top section of the handle shaped like Mickey Mouse, and the bottom resembling the iconic Big Ben clock in London.
The key is designed to resemble Cinderella Castle, painted in gold with the 50th anniversary logo printed on in commemoration.
As we mentioned earlier, all of these items can be found over at the Emporium in the Magic Kingdom, as well as online at shopDisney.
Unfortunately, we weren’t able to find a pair of the Mickey Ears to show you, but we’ll keep an eye out on our travels around the parks for those, too!
This has been the sixth release from the Mickey Mouse: The Main Attraction collection, and we think it’s one of the prettiest releases yet.
Are you a collector of this series, and will you be adding any of these adorable, Peter Pan’s Flight-inspired items to your collection?
