Log testing is happening at Tiana’s Bayou Adventure, and MickeyBlog is there.
Attraction Update
Our MickeyBlog team is at Magic Kingdom bringing you a first look at the ride vehicle testing this evening.
So far we have only spotted one log with test dummies, and testing started around 6:30pm.
Here is a great look at the action!
Multiple test logs are being used.
They have been coming in groups of 3 and dropping approximately every 3-5 minutes, with a 15-minute break in between. Then the cycle repeats.
From what we can tell, there are about 15-20 seconds in between each log that drops before the next one comes down.
Splash Mountain closed back in May 2023 in Magic Kingdom and has been going through a big transformation into a Princess and the Frog-themed ride entitled Tiana’s Bayou Adventure.
We have shared construction updates, timeline info, and more each week as Disney transitions from the classic ride to an updated version and what we are seeing today.
Just a few weeks ago, we brought you first looks at water testing underway, and we shared that the first ride vehicles had been spotted.
All of these new updates and additions can only mean one thing– we are getting closer and closer to the opening of Tiana’s Bayou Adventure!
