Disney Springs DJ is Spinning Some Christmas Tunes
Live entertainment is back at Disney Springs. Musicians and performers were first seen back at the restaurant and retail mecca the beginning of October. After months of quiet and a phased reopening this summer, Disney Springs was ready for the sounds of music again. The performers were appropriately socially distanced and playing several instruments including an accordion. Today, to welcome in the holidays at Disney Springs a DJ was spotted on stage spinning some Christmas tunes
We don’t know the name of our festive DJ, but we do know he sports an awesome holiday T-shirt that says “Tree Rex”. Families were able to sit distanced in the audience and listen to these holiday hits. Several children danced in the stands.
The new Christmas DJ is part of the Disney Springs holiday season that started this weekend.
“Groove to the tunes from Guest DJs throughout the holidays at the Waterside Stage and Exposition Park.” (Disney)
Also included in the festivities is Santa’s Winter Watercade,
“Santa and Mrs. Claus are soaking up the last bit of Florida sun before their big night, taking to Lake Buena Vista in a Winter Waterland of colorfully decorated pontoon boats, waving Christmas wishes to one and all.” (Disney)
The Christmas Tree Stroll.
“This year, you can discover Christmas around every corner, as you come across a collection of elaborately decorated Disney Christmas trees spread throughout the neighborhoods of Disney Springs.” (Disney)
Toy Solider stilt-walkers, ice skaters and more.
