NEW Disney & Pixar’s ‘Inside Out 2’ Trailer Reveals More Emotions!
Pixar’s Inside Out 2 is releasing in theaters this summer (June 14th), and I could not be more excited! So far, we’ve only seen some teasers for the new movie.
But now, the FULL trailer has been released, and there are a bunch of new emotions to meet!
Inside Out 2 Trailer
So, we have all 5 of the original emotions from the first movie returning — Joy, Sadness, Anger, Fear, and Disgust.
The teaser trailers briefly introduced us to a new emotion — Anxiety. Pixar left us hanging with a hint that more emotions had also arrived, but we didn’t get to see them…until now!
In the new trailer, we also meet Envy…
…Ennui, otherwise known as boredom…
…and Embarrassment.
These new emotions bring new voice talent to the movie! Anxiety is voiced by Maya Hawke (Stranger Things), Envy is voiced by Ayo Edebiri (The Bear), Ennui is voiced by Adèle Exarchopoulos (Passages), and Embarrassment is voiced by Paul Walter Hauser (Black Bird).
The original 5 emotions have also seen some changes as far as who voices them. Joy is still voiced by Amy Poehler, Anger is still voiced by Lewis Black, and Sadness is still voiced by Phyllis Smith, but now, Fear is voiced by Tony Hale (Veep) instead of Bill Hader and Disgust is now voice by Liza Lapira (Crazy, Stupid, Love) instead of Mindy Kaling.
We also see in the trailer that Riley has just turned 13, so these emotions definitely make sense for a teenager!
You’ll also be happy to hear that we get a brief glimpse at Riley’s mom’s emotions once again, so we can expect Pixar to stick with showing us the parents’ emotions quickly for a few jokes.
Oh, and there’s a very funny bit about the Sar-chasm part of Riley’s brain that you definitely have to see for yourself!
