New Bananas Foster Sundae Has Us in a Swirl at Disney Springs
You can’t deny it — Disney Springs is a wonderland for sweet treats. Whether you’re feeling like cookies, chocolate, cakes, pretzels, or donuts, there’s always going to be a superb spot dedicated to creating the very best tastes to suit your fancy.
So, when you’re in the mood for ice cream…where do you go first?

Located in the Marketplace neighborhood of Springs, this sweet spot is one of our favorite places to grab a refreshing summer treat. If you’ve not been yet, you’re missing out!

As well as being THE place to visit if you’re craving Dole Whips at Disney Springs, Swirls on the Water is also becoming quite renowned for its dedication to creating delicious soft-serve concoctions for every season here at Walt Disney World.
Just this weekend, our reporters went to try the March-exclusive St Patrick’s Day cone at Swirls, and you can read our full review of that here. However, today we’re back, and it’s a totally different treat we’re tasting this afternoon! Let’s check it out…

Mmm. You can’t beat a sundae on a Tuesday, right?
This delicious-looking new bowl is brand-new on the menu at Swirls on the Water, and it takes unique inspiration from a delicious dessert we already know we love. Obviously, we had to order this Bananas Foster Sundae, and can’t wait to dig in!

So, what’s inside this yummy waffle bowl? Well, let’s have a glance at this menu…
As you can see, this tasty dessert consists of banana and toasted marshmallow-flavored soft-serve ice creams, piled high in a sweet waffle bowl. There’s a mountain of banana whipped cream on top, sweet banana slices, and crispy pearls…and it’s all topped off with a generous drizzle of caramel sauce. It costs $6.49.

It was our MickeyBlogger Jared who tried this dessert for us, and he reported back with rave reviews of the treat.
So much so that we’re almost ready to rush out and grab our own to try!

Our trusty reporter told us this was an instant hit in his books, with the rich, sweet flavors combining perfectly to create the ultimate refresher for a hot Orlando day.
The ice cream was smooth, the pearls added a tantalizing crunch, and the banana pieces on the side were delicious in caramel. In fact, our only gripe was that we wished there were more of these fruit slices!

Overall, we’ll definitely be back for more, and wouldn’t hesitate to recommend this irresistible March treat to any banana-loving reader visiting Disney Springs this month!

It’s interesting because this would be the second consecutive month that a Bananas Foster-inspired dessert has impressed us at Walt Disney World.
Back in February, our reporters tried the Bananas Foster Shake from Magic Kingdom, and it’s safe to say we went bananas over that treat, too!
