Why This Plant-Based Cupcake Was Not So Lucky in Disney World
Who else is ready for St. Patrick’s Day??
Even if you aren’t, Disney World sure is, and today is the day that many new and returning St. Patrick’s Day eats and drinks have arrived in the parks and beyond. We’ve already tried a new Irish Cream Cheesecake, and now we’re heading to another location for a plant-based cupcake!
Lucky Clover Cupcake
We visited Disney’s All-Star Sports Resort’s End Zone Food Court to try the plant-based Lucky Clover Cupcake for $5.79.
It’s a chocolate cupcake with a golden vanilla buttercream swirl and shamrock sprinkles. It’s really cute and photographed nicely!
Sadly, when it comes to flavor, we were not a fan of this cupcake. It was very dry and crumbly, and it didn’t have a lot of flavor either. The icing was also pretty tasteless!
Now, this is a pretty cupcake, and it’s great to have this option for plant-based eaters! Keep in mind that this was just our experience too, so your mileage may vary.
The Lucky Clover Cupcake is available from March 1st to the 31st, and it’s available at the following Disney World hotel locations:
- World Premiere Food Court at Disney’s All-Star Movies Resort
- Intermission Food Court at Disney’s All-Star Music Resort
- End Zone Food Court at Disney’s All-Star Sports Resort
- Landscape of Flavors at Disney’s Art of Animation Resort
