New Cash Register Area Unveiled at Mickey’s of Hollywood
Over the last five years or so, it seems like some kind of construction has always been going on at Mickey’s of Hollywood at Disney’s Hollywood Studios.
The park’s flagship store, Mickey’s of Hollywood, is your one-stop shop for Disney souvenirs, Hollywood Studios merchandise, apparel, and more.
The entire store was redone in 2019, eventually reopening with a new Art Deco aesthetic and a red and gold color scheme.
Over the last few weeks, however, parts of the store have been blocked off and refurbished, although the shop has remained open for guests.
The New Cash Register Area Is Finished!
Today, when visiting Mickey’s of Hollywood, we noticed that a newly designed cash register area has been unveiled.
As you can see, the store’s gold and red art deco motif continues above the new register. I love the stylized “M”s that line the back wall.
Overall, the entire store fits in perfectly with Hollywood Boulevard and matches well with the Chinese Theatre at the end of the street.
Here is another look at the register. The dark wood paneling looks very classy.
While the new cash register area looks completed and ready to go, it was not in use today.
Hopefully, however, Cast Members will be ringing up guests here in the next day or two!
