Delicious Quick-Service Dining Options at Disney’s Monorail Resorts!
Where do you go when are looking for a fast and casual food experience? Walt Disney World quick-service dining options are definitely the way to go!
This fast and casual experience is perfect for days when you are on-the-run or need a quick bite.
And if you are staying at one of Walt Disney World’s Monorail Resorts (Disney’s Contemporary Resort, Disney’s Polynesian Village Resort, or Disney’s Grand Floridian Resort and Spa) you have some great options.
Disney quick-service offers the best of both worlds: great food and great service. This is the perfect balance when you are short on time.
What is Quick- Service Dining?
Walt Disney World offers an excellent selection of dining options and quick-service is ideal when you want a fast bite.
Quick-service dining can mean cafeteria-style where you can “grab and go” and pick your favorite items. Or it can be counter-service venues where you order, pay, and sit down to enjoy your meal.
Disney’s Polynesian Village Resort-Captain Cook’s
Guests staying at Disney’s Polynesian Village Resort have a great quick-service location: Capt. Cook’s.
This tasty dining spot is located on the main floor off of the lobby and offers excellent food options for breakfast, lunch, and dinner.
This is a great stop for every day basics like cheeseburgers, chicken nuggets, salads, and soups. But it is also a great option for Mickey Waffles, banana-stuffed Tonga Toast, or an Aloha Pork Sandwich.
Captain Cook’s also offers plant-based and allergy-friendly options in addition to a selection of amazing treats.
Disney’s Contemporary Resort- Contempo Cafe
I love grabbing a quick bite here before jumping onto the monorail and heading into the parks.
Nestled in the Grand Canyon Concourse, this colorful eatery boasts awesome food and an even better atmosphere.
You can enjoy breakfast, lunch, and dinner while watching monorails zip through the inside of the hotel.
Start your day with the Bounty Breakfast Platter or Mickey Waffles, or enjoy a Three-Meat Flatbread later on. They also have an amazing selection of seasonal cupcakes and desserts.
Grab any of these quick eats and enjoy in front of the 90-foot mural by the legendary artist, Mary Blair.
The food is great and the experience is unique!
Disney’s Grand Floridian Resort & Spa- Gasparilla Island Grill
This quick and casual location is one of my faves! Featuring everything from Mickey Waffles to artisan burgers to a hot Italian sandwich, there are numerous options for everyone to enjoy.
Open daily from 6 AM to midnight, this is a great option for early risers and night owls. They even offer a late night menu with bakery treats and light snacks.
This charming and elegant spot is a great place to refresh and refuel, and it offers the option to dine outdoors with a view of Cinderella’s Castle. Perfect!
