With Presidents’ Day Crowds Descending on Walt Disney World Special Ticket Reservations Sell Out
With Presidents’ Day weekend rolling on into Monday, the crowds at Walt Disney World remain high.
Earlier today, we reported that the Disney Genie+ service was being sold at its highest price of 2024. Even at those price points, the Multiple Parks option sold out.
Our reporters in the parks today have seen the large crowds firsthand, with huge lines at both EPCOT and Disney Springs.
Special Ticket Reservations Sell Out
While it should be no surprise that Presidents Day Weekend is a busy one, the increase in crowds has made planning a trip for those with non-date-based tickets more difficult.
As Annual Passholders and those with special tickets still need to make park reservations before visiting Walt Dinsey World’s theme park, bigger crowds can prevent certain ticket holders from being able to visit their favorite Walt Disney World park.
Earlier this weekend, we saw all four parks sell out for those who do not have date-based tickets. Today was almost as busy.
For those potentially planning a last-minute visit to Walt Disney World as part of a student group, sports team, or convention group, Park Passes for both EPCOT and Disney’s Hollywood Studios are sold out.
Currently, only reservations for the Magic Kingdom and Disney’s Animal Kingdom remain.
Tomorrow Crowds Should Return to Normal
With kids set to return to school tomorrow, we should see the crowd levels at Walt Disney World return to normal. For now, though, if you plan on stopping by the parks, be prepared.
In addition to long lines on the horizon, park reservations may not be available for your preferred destination.
As always, continue to check back with MickeyBlog. We will be updating you on the crowd levels throughout this Presidents’ Day weekend!
