The Best Places at Walt Disney World to Watch the Super Bowl
Okay, Taylor Swift fans, this is the big week! It’s the game you’ve anxiously awaited since September 24th, 2023!
That’s when you found out that Swift was dating some football player for the Kansas Chiefs.

Now, through the power of all things Swift, the Grammy Award winner has willed her boyfriend into the Super Bowl.
And while nobody else is brave enough to say it, you know that Patrick Mahomes II had nothing to do with it.

USA Today
Now, you’re ready to watch Swift win her Super Bowl and head to Disney for her victory parade. Thankfully, you’re already here.
So, here are the best places at Walt Disney World to watch the Super Bowl.
Oh, and I guess some NFL fans may want to know this, too.
City Works Eatery & Pour House
When you’re searching for places with large televisions, you should strongly consider Disney Springs.
Several restaurants in this area don’t advertise the fact, but they often have HDTVs.
Typically, you’ll find them at the bars, if nothing else. And that’s definitely true at City Works.
I wouldn’t describe this place as a pure sports bar, but it’s pretty close.

There’s an extremely long bar area that covers nearly the entirety of one wall.
If you look up from the chairs, you’ll notice giant HDTVs above all these barstools.

So, you don’t need to sit at the bar to watch the game.
Even better, the drinks here are terrific, and the burgers have built quite the buzz. So, this is an excellent way to watch the game.
Geyser Point Bar & Grill
I often describe this restaurant as one of the hidden gems of Walt Disney World, and I almost mean that literally.
Unless you’re someone who wanders the grounds of various Disney hotels, you wouldn’t even know this place exists.
Disney has nestled this eatery between the water and the trees at the back of Disney’s Wilderness Lodge.
The serene backdrop creates a tranquil dining experience, and the menu is shockingly great.
Have you ever had a bison burger? If not, you should rectify that, presuming you eat meat.
The drinks are similarly exceptional across the board, with the bar area hosting most of the HDTVs.
However, you will find a few more around the restaurant, liberating you to dine wherever you want.
The best part of eating at Geyser Point – other than all those Insta-worthy photo ops – is its weatherproof nature.
If it rains on Super Bowl Sunday, Disney can enclose this space, turning an outdoor space into an indoor dining experience.
Rix Sports Bar and Grill
I’ve written versions of this article a couple of times before. Each time, readers expressed surprise at this suggestion.
This restaurant has remained so far under the radar that few even know it exists.
Realistically, the only ways you’d notice it are if you’re staying at Disney’s Coronado Springs Resort, or you use My Disney Experience.

I mention the latter because Rix almost always shows dining availability, no matter when you check.
Rix lacks popularity because you’ll find better dining options throughout Walt Disney World.
TripAdvisor currently ranks the restaurant 481st out of 2,108 eateries in Central Florida. That’s good overall…but low for Disney.

Then again, that’s about the food quality level you should expect at a sports bar, and that’s definitely what Rix is.
Here’s a YouTube video confirming this point:
You’ll notice the televisions lurking in the background of every shot.
So, the nice thing about this discussion is you’re sure to get a table, and you’re sure to see the game from your table.
Splitsville Luxury Lanes
Okay, here is my favorite option from everything I’ve listed here.
At Splitsville, you can bowl and/or drink while you watch the game.
The restaurant has stocked the ceilings above the bowling lanes with HDTVs.

While you’ll use some of those screens to track your scores, the rest will show the game and Swift’s big play celebrations.
If you have no interest in bowling, that’s totally fine! You’ll find pool tables, a seating area, and a bar.
In short, there are ample places to sit, and televisions are seemingly everywhere.

If you choose Splitsville, I have a couple of pro tips. First, you want to take the escalator to the second floor. It’s much less congested.
Second, you can and should reserve a lane in advance, even if you don’t plan to bowl. That’ll guarantee you a way to watch the game.
Your Hotel Room
We’ve got a couple of other options to discuss this year, ones I’ve historically ignored.
In recent years, Disney has improved dramatically with regard to room service and Table Service to Go pickup.
You can feasibly order from several different Table Service restaurants, grab your meal, and return to your hotel room.

Then, you can watch the game from the comfort of your current living space.
This strategy is quieter, although you may miss the social component of watching a big game in a crowd of people.
Along these lines, you can take a different approach. You can visit a DVC resort’s community space, typically a gathering area.
Disney has recently displayed the Super Bowl in these areas, and Cast Members even sell snacks.
So, you get the social component while watching the game in a less hectic area.
Literally Anywhere
Finally, we have the new option, one that still blows me away as someone who remembers a time before streaming.
You can watch this year’s game on Paramount Plus, presuming you have a valid subscription.
If you don’t, you should consider it for this month. By subscribing, you can watch the game literally anywhere.

Paramount+
The only restraint is that you’ll need either WiFi or a cellular network, both of which are readily available at Walt Disney World.
Presuming you don’t mind watching the big game on your phone, you can do that anywhere.
Seriously, you could ride Seven Dwarfs Mine Train during a commercial break.

Similarly, any Disney restaurant doubles as a place to watch the Super Bowl now.
As long as you remember your phone, you’re golden!
