5 NEW Updates About 1900 Park Fare in Disney World
Recently, we brought you the news that 1900 Park Fare is reopening in Disney World soon!
Located in Disney’s Grand Floridian Resort, 1900 Park Fare has been closed since March 2020, but it’s now scheduled to reopen on April 10th, 2024. Disney noted that the reopening would involve “new dining offerings,” and here’s what we know so far!
1900 Park Fare Updates
1. New Characters
In the past, 1900 Park Fare offered character dining for breakfast and dinner, and it seems like this is not changing — but new characters will be involved!
Diners can enjoy breakfast and dinner alongside characters such as Aladdin in his Prince Ali look, Cinderella, Mirabel, and even Tiana in her new Tiana’s Bayou Adventure fit.
2. Buffet Dining
Breakfast and dinner will continue to be buffet dining opportunities, and Disney did confirm that the famous Strawberry Soup WILL be back!
Additionally, there will be new menu offerings specifically meant to “pay tribute to some of the characters and stories you’ll encounter throughout the restaurant.”
3. Theming
1900 Park Fare fans will still be able to enjoy the antique organ known as Big Bertha, and the carousel theming will continue to be evident throughout the restaurant, including carousel animals from films like Alice in Wonderland and The Little Mermaid.
In fact, a new mural (shown below) will serve as the focal point of the entrance to the restaurant.
4. New Artwork
12 new portraits will be placed throughout the main dining room, each created exclusively for the restaurant by Disney artists.
The artwork is all inspired by late 19th and early 20th century Impressionist art style, and each piece features a different Disney character.
5. Reservations Open March 5th
Reservations will officially open for 1900 Park Fare on March 5th, so make sure you mark your calendar and set your alarm (remember, dining reservations typically open as early as 5:45AM daily).
