REVIEW: A Disappointing Lack of Flavor from New EPCOT Festival Joffrey’s
Welcome to the 2024 EPCOT Festival of the Arts! It’s a colorful day here on the first week of the event, and your MickeyBloggers are reporting through it all right here on the blog and on our social media. Thanks so much for joining us!
Right now though, we’ve got coffee on the mind. So, of course we’re off to Joffrey’s, where a fun new drink has just become available exclusively for the festival!
It sounds rather nutty and unique, and we can’t wait to give it a try…
World Discovery
There’s plenty of places to grab a tasty Joffrey’s drink at EPCOT, but right now we’re over at their friendly booth in World Discovery.
Located just near Mission: SPACE, we can already smell the dreamy coffee coming from the pots… so let’s see what new drink is on the menu, and place our order!
Pistachio Palette Cold Brew
Ok, we’ve got our coffee… and how good does this sound?
Entitled the “Pistachio Palette Cold Brew,” this self-proclaimed “flavorful masterpiece” sounds perfectly fitting to the Festival of the Arts. The drink consists of Joffrey’s Shakin’ Jamaican cold brew with milk, blended with a nutty and sweet pistachio syrup.
To finish, there’s a mountain of whipped cream, and lots of colorful sprinkles! It costs $6.49.
In addition, an alcoholic version of this drink is also available to adult guests. It’s exactly the same beverage, yet spiked with a shot of Bailey’s Irish Cream Liqueur for $14.99.
Would this be a drink you’d order?
Our reporters tried the non-alcoholic drink, and we were eager to hear what they had to say!
Unfortunately, the feedback was that the pistachio flavor just wasn’t coming through strong from this drink. The tasty Joffrey’s cold brew blend was all there, but no other flavors were detectable for us.
Maybe it was forgotten? Either way, we still appreciate the classic cold brew kick!
Even More Joffrey’s!
If just one new Joffrey’s drink isn’t enough for you – don’t worry. Especially for the 2024 Festival of the Arts, the company has brewed up a total of four new drinks, exclusively available at select Joffrey’s spots throughout EPCOT!
