The Disney Cruise Line Will Return To Catalina Island In 2024 and 2025
The Disney Cruise Line will return to Catalina Island for its spring 2024 and 2025.
The only permanently inhabited island among California’s eight Channel Islands continues to be one of the most popular destinations for cruisers.

The Disney Wonder Will Sail to the Island
In 2024 and 2025, the Disney Wonder will integrate Catalina Island in its 3- and 4-night Baja Cruises. The ship will depart from its homeport in San Diego and visit Ensenada, Mexico.

Prices for these cruises start at $1,796 for a 3-night sailing for two guests and $2,244 for the 4-night itinerary.
As part of the announcement, Jose Fernandez, vice president of port strategy, development, and operations of the Disney Cruise Line, sounded excited about the return.

A Longstanding Relationship
Situated 22 miles off the coast of Southern California, Catalina is known as the “Island of Romance.” The Wonder previously stopped there as part of its “Mexican Cruise.” The Disney Cruise first stopped at the island in the spring of 2022.

When the Disney Magic made its inaugural visit in the fall of 2023, Avalon Mayor Anni Marshall and president and CEO of Love Catalina, Jim Luttjohan, presented a plaque and key to the ship as part of a symbol of the ongoing partnership.
“We were honored to be chosen as an inaugural port of call for Disney Magic and look forward to welcoming Disney Cruise Line to Catalina for many years to come,” said Luttjohan.
