New Walkway Opens to Guests at Tiana’s Bayou Adventure
A huge step forward in construction has been marked over at the Magic Kingdom, where a new development is helping guests get closer to the highly-anticipated Tiana’s Bayou Adventure attraction.
Head on down the pathway with us, and let’s see what’s opened up!
Tiana’s Bayou Adventure
Well, we’re over here in Frontierland and, as always, construction on the much talked-about Tiana’s Bayou Adventure is – like gumbo – cooking along quite nicely.
Ever since the former Splash Mountain site began its large-scale transformation process back in January, your MickeyBloggers have been keeping a close eye on updates to the attraction.
The most recent update came this week, when we noticed additional thematic foliage and other greenery was added to the mountain’s exterior. Looks pretty!
Today, however, the development that has caught our eye is much closer within guests’ reach.
Take a step closer, and let’s go check it out…
A New Walkway
What’s this? Could it be… the path towards completion has gotten clearer?
Yes readers, here you’re looking at a brand-newly-opened pathway in the vicinity of Tiana’s Bayou Adventure, now open for guests to parade upon should they wish.
This pathway serves as a connection between the Frontierland restrooms and train station, running alongside the ride’s queue area and thus allowing us to get much closer to the attraction.
How exciting!
As you can see from the images, the new pathway consists of smart stony-paved groundwork, still covered by those ever-present brown construction walls on both sides.
However, the sun was shining through today, and we love this first feel of Tiana’s starting to become accessible to guests!
Another feature we love are these pretty metal railings, which stand out beautifully in regal blue and gold.
Each post seems to be topped with a pine cone detail, which we think fits in with the aesthetic of the new Frontierland perfectly.
As the train rushes through the station, we can see from the images that the other side of the walkway has now been blocked off to guests, presumably for work to commence on a matching half.
As always, you can be assured that we’ll keep a close eye on the area for updates!
Next time you’re in Magic Kingdom, why not take a walk over to Frontierland to check out the latest construction development? The work has been underway for almost a year now, and us MickeyBloggers find it so exciting to watch the progress taking place.
Be sure to stay tuned to the blog for all the latest news and updates, and we’re sure we’ll be splashing down the bayou before we know it!
