Disney World Releases January “Bonus Reservations” For Annual Passholders
Before the advent of Disney World’s “good-to-go” days for Annual Passholders on January 11th, 2024, Disney added some bonus reservations in January.
For those who don’t know, until “good-to-go” days officially arrive at Disney World, Annual Passholders still need to make Park Reservations before visiting a Disney Park.
Long gone are the days when a Walt Disney World Annual Passholder could just pop into a park on a whim. Now, these things take a little bit of planning.
How Bonus Reservations Work
As a salve for Passholders who bristle at the idea of having to plan out their trips to the park, Walt Disney World has been giving out “bonus reservations” for months.
Depending on which Disney World Annual Pass you have, there is a maximum number of park reservations that you can hold at one time.
For example, the Incredi Pass and Sorcerer Passes limit guests to 5 Park Reservations, Pirate Passes are limited to 4, and the Pixie Pass is limited to 3
A bonus reservation, however, does not count against your maximum number of park reservations, essentially giving Passholders an additional opportunity to visit the parks.
January Dates Announced
Following the end of the holiday season, Disney is once again releasing bonus reservations in early January.
The newly added bonus reservation dates include the following:
- January 4, 2024- Disney’s Animal Kingdom
- January 6, 2024- Magic Kingdom
- January 7, 2024- Disney’s Hollywood Studios
- January 8, 2024- EPCOT
With “good-to-go” days on the horizon, these will likely be the last batch of bonus reservations we see.
Still, it is good to see Disney remembering its Annual Passholders and giving them a little perk for the new year.
