PHOTOS: Christmas Has Come to Gideon’s Bakehouse in Disney Springs!
Merry Christmas from Disney World!
If you’re in the holiday spirit while visiting Disney World–you’re in luck! You can experience the Festival of Holidays in EPCOT, ride a holiday-themed attraction in Magic Kingdom, or take in all of the festive decor around the resort. But the holiday spirit isn’t limited to the parks–you can dig into the festive cheer at Disney Springs, too! (Yes, we said, “dig.”)
Christmas Flavors
It’s December, so you know what that means…holiday flavors are at Gideon’s Bakehouse! Each Monday and Saturday in December, the Kris Kringle Cake and Cake Vom Krampus are being served (if those flavors sound familiar, it’s because we’ve already tried the cookies)! Today, the virtual queue started 5 minutes after opening and each slice was $9.
The Kris Kringle Cake is a soft vanilla cake filled with ground coffee, covered in a fluffy marshmallow buttercream blended with coconut and vanilla bean flavors, and ribboned with housemade salted caramel.
We’re drooling over these layers!
The Cake Vom Krampus is a red velvet cake covered in an ultra mint chocolate cream cheese frosting!.
Red velvet and mint chocolate? Yes, please!
These flavors are popular, so be sure to join the queue immediately on Mondays and Saturdays! And we’ll keep bringing you the latest from the resort, so stay tuned to MickeyBlog.com.
