Christmas Comes To Disney’s Caribbean Beach Resort
Disney’s Caribbean Beach Resort is my favorite place in the world. I first visited Disney’s first moderate hotel in 1995 at the ripe old age of 3, just six years after the resort opened.
Since that time I have stayed at the Caribbean almost yearly.
Seeing how the resort has evolved and shrunken over the years has truly been an emotional roller coaster. From the loss of the Captain’s Table and the Cinnamon Bay Bakery at the dawn of the millennium, to the more recent changes to Old Port Royale and the advent of the Disney Skyliner, I have seen it all.
Christmas in the Caribbean
With all that in mind, I am thrilled to announce that Christmas has officially come to the Caribbean and the resort looks great!
You probably don’t know this, but Disney’s Caribbean Beach has a long connection to Christmas.
The resort was first introduced to a national audience during the Disney Christmas Parade, and it hasn’t looked back since.
Celebrate the Holidays- Island Style!
This year, Old Port Royale Centertown is full of the holiday spirit with Christmas Trees in both the lobby and closer to the Centertown Market.
Complete with floral decorations, these trees really give off an island feel.
The larger tree in the lobby looks great! I love the large bulb ornaments.
Here is another look.
The smaller tree near Centertown Market sure is bright!
It even features a pineapple ornament in the middle and a tropical bird on top.
The walkway through Old Port is lined with beautiful wreaths and garland!
Here is a closer look at the wreaths — they are truly unique!
The theming continues outside the lobby as you head towards the bus stop.
As someone who loves both Disney’s Caribbean Beach Resort and Christmas, I can’t wait to celebrate the holidays at my favorite resort!
