Bob Iger To Discuss “Future Building Opportunities” at November 28 Town Hall
Following the company’s strong earnings report and the end of the SAG-AFTRA strike, Disney CEO Bob Iger is once again riding high.
Next up, Iger is set to host a virtual “Town Hall” with Cast Members to discuss “recent achievements and future building opportunities.”
The Town Hall will be moderated by David Muir of ABC News. Alan Bergman, Dana Walden, Josh D’Amaro, and Jimmy Pitaro will be on hand as part of the discussion.
Reflecting Back and Looking Ahead
The virtual Town Hall has become something of an annual tradition for Iger. The CEO held a similar event in November 2022 to mark his return to the company.
In a memo to employees, Iger praised Disney for the progress they made in the last year.
“As I reflect on the immense progress we’ve made this year and look ahead to the many opportunities before us, I’m grateful to all of you – the people of this great company – for the tremendous work you do each and every day to ensure we continue delivering incredible entertainment for our audiences, guests, and fans all over the world,” he said.
Disney’s Four Segment Chairmen Will Be on Hand
The fact that Bergman, D’Amaro, Pitaro, and Walden will all be on hand likely speaks to the wide range of topics that will be covered.
While Iger still has his work cut out for him, the company’s recent earnings and the subsequent increase in stock price, show that the company could be turning things around.
It will be interesting to hear what Iger and his cohorts have planned next.
