7 Halloween Disney Movies You Can Experience at the Disney Parks
Did you know that you can see your favorite Halloween Disney movie come to life at the Disney Parks? Whether it’s an attraction or a character in a parade, you can immerse yourself into the movies! Take a look!
1. Disney’s “Haunted Mansion”
In the newly released “Haunted Mansion” a mom and her son move to New Orleans only to find that they have houseguests in their old home. They hire “spiritual experts” to communicate with the supernatural.
You know the story behind the Haunted Mansion at the Disney Parks. Enter if you dare and see the spirits come to life! There are 999 Happy Haunts and they are always looking for 1 more.
House guests from “The Haunted Mansion” attraction come to life at Mickey’s Not-So-Scary Halloween party at Disney World. Constance herself is gliding down the streets as the graveyard workers prepare a new spot just for you.
Keep your eyes out for the Hitchhiking Ghosts at Mickey’s Not-So-Scary Halloween Party at Disney World and Oogie Boogie Bash at Disneyland!
2. “Tim Burton’s The Nightmare Before Christmas”
The Pumpkin King himself makes his way to the Disney Parks with Sally to meet guests of all ages. They can be found at New Orleans Square in Disneyland or at Walt Disney World during Mickey’s Not-So-Scary Halloween Party.
The Town of Halloween makes its way onto the “Haunted Mansion Holiday” at Disneyland Park. Take a ride through the famous graveyard, view the glowing presents, and watch Jack take on Christmas.
3. Disney’s “Hocus Pocus” and “Hocus Pocus 2”
The Sanderson Sisters are back as they attempt to capture the youth of children before the sun rises!
Get ready to sing and dance with your favorite witches at Hocus Pocus Villain Spelltacular in Disney World.
You will also be able to see Minnie Mouse, Daisy Duck, and Clarabelle Cow dressed up as the Sanderson Sisters for Halloween during the “Boo To You Parade”.
4. Disney’s “Cruella”
Cruella de Vill brings us London in 70’s to both Disney World and Disneyland.
5. Disney’s “Maleficent: Mistress of Evil”
All hail to the powerful fey named Maleficent! Watch her as she casts spells during her performance at Mickey’s Not-So-Scary Halloween Party. You can also meet Maleficent in Tomorrowland before the “Disney Villains Dance Party” during Halloween Time at the Disneyland Resort.
6. “Halloweentown”
Main Street in Disneyland comes alive just like it does in the fan-favorite movie “Halloweentown”! The Main Street Pumpkin Festival glows up the street on Main Street, and you can also get a glimpse of some of your favorite characters in the shape of pumpkins.
7. Disney’s “The Adventures of Ichabod and Mr. Toad”
One of my favorite parts to Mickey’s Not-So-Scary Halloween party is right before the “Boo To You Parade” where the Headless Horseman takes his ride down Main Street.
The Headless Horseman strides down Main Street on his black horse, carrying a flickering jack-o-lantern. You may also catch a glimpse of him during the “Frightfully Fun Parade, at Oogie Boogie Bash in Disneyland.
