Monorail Down at Walt Disney World This Monday Morning
Well things are off to a bit of hectic start at Walt Disney World this morning as guest scramble to get to the parks and eateries. Our MickeyBlogger is on the scene at the Magic Kingdom this morning and we can report that the Monorail System is officially down!
Cast members are stationed at the Ticket and Transportation Center to let guests know.
From the Magic Kingdom side of the things the monorail platform is also roped off.
Those staying at the monorail resorts or coming in through the TTC should note that ferry transportation is still operational.
However, you should allow for extra time as the ferries are jam-packed this morning!
Here’s a look at the guests streaming in from the boat this morning.
Cast members we spoke to on the scene said that they didn’t have an ETA on when the monorails would resume service.
We got the impression that it may be down for a while.
This is a situation that we will continue to follow closely.
Readers are encouraged to keep following along with MickeyBlog for further Walt Disney World news and updates. We’ll be coming to you LIVE! from the theme parks each and every week.
