From Rider Switch to Strollers: 5 Tips for Visiting Walt Disney World With Your Little Ones
Let’s face it: a Walt Disney World vacation can be a tad overwhelming if not thought out and planned properly. But that’s what I am here for! I have 5 quick tips to ensure that your Walt Disney World vacation with your little one is as magical – and stress-free – as possible!
From Rider Switch and strollers to meet and greets with beloved Disney Characters, there is a bunch to know, but I am here to break it all down with a little help from planDisney panelists!
Disney Rider Switch
If you have a little one and are unfamiliar with Disney Rider Switch, you are missing out! Or, maybe you have heard of it and not sure how it really works.
planDisney Panelists Elizabeth S. and Kaitlin P. have put together this clip to break it down for you, and trust me when I say it’s truly a game changer!
Disney Stroller Rentals
To bring a stroller or not…That is the question!
Personally, I always recommend bringing a stroller for all children under eight, especially if you are going to visit the parks for several days.
If you do decide on the stroller, you have a few options: You can bring your own, rent from Disney World, or rent it from a third party. I always recommend a third party in Amusement Park Rentals, but Elizabeth has some more tips in this clip:
Pack a Great Park Bag
A great park bag is essential to a successful park day with little ones and preschoolers! Now, deciding what to bring and what to leave at home can be a tough decision.
Two essentials you definitely will want to pack are cooling fans and wet wipes. Here is Kaitlin with some more:
Chill Out on a Resort Day
If you are looking for the perfect way to unwind and relax during your Walt Disney World vacation with your little one or preschooler, planning in a resort day in the middle of your park days is mandatory!
Planning for the ideal resort day starts when you first select your Walt Disney World Resort Hotel. All Walt Disney World Resort Hotels have amazing pool areas. However, if you are interested in a water slide, you must stay at a moderate or above resort.
Theming can be important, too! Walt Disney World Resort Hotels offer Guests a variety of themes, and some even have themed rooms like a Disney Princess room!
In addition to some fun in the sun, select resorts also offer Disney Family Wellness activities to maintain a healthy lifestyle during your vacation with a little extra Disney fun!
Here is Elizabeth with some tips for planning the perfect resort day during your Walt Disney World vacation:
Disney Character Meet and Greets
Now let’s talk about one of the most time-honored traditions during a Walt Disney World vacation: the first hug your little one or preschooler receives from their favorite Disney Character.
The memories and the photos will always be treasured for years and years to come, and Kaitlin some tips and tricks to where to meet your little’s ones favorite Disney Pal or Princess:
