Celebrate Oktoberfest With These New Germany Pavilion Releases
I have a confession to make. When I was young, I didn’t understand the appeal of World Showcase. At the time, I was more than happy to eat a hamburger at the Electric Umbrella, and the culture and stores of the World Showcase pavilions had minimal appeal to me.
These days, however, perusing the shops of World Showcase is one of my favorite things to do in Walt Disney World. I love searching through each pavilion’s stores looking for something to remember my trip to EPCOT with.
Today, for example, when visiting the Germany pavilion, we found a couple of new souvenirs that are the perfect combination of world culture and Disney.
Oktoberfest Magnet
First up, we have this Germany pavilion magnet.
This magnet features Mickey and his friends in the midst of an Oktoberfest celebration.
With Goofy, Pluto, and Donald playing music, Mickey and Minnie are dressed in traditional German garb dancing.
The magnet reads “Tanzen macht Spar”, whats loosely translates to “Dancing saves Money”.
It is available now for $9.99!
Germany Pavilion Shirt
Next up we have this really fun Germany pavilion shirt.
The pavilion’s iconic fountain depicting St. George and the Dragon is front and center here, prominently featured in front of Spaceship Earth.
If you look closely at the design of the shirt seems to create a stein. The statue is the base, while the pavilion’s traditional dome serves as the top.
Even more so than most World Showcase merchandise, this shirt does a great job representing the Germany pavilion.
Where To Get Them
