Condiment Pumps Return to Cosmic Ray’s Starlight Cafe in Magic Kingdom
Cosmic Ray’s Starlight Cafe may be best known as the home of the “Biggest Little Star in the Galaxy” Sonny Eclipse, but that is not all the restaurant has to offer.
While Cosmic Rays is often dismissed by Disney fans for its generic menu, it was also once home to one of the great topping bars in the Magic Kingdom.
The Cosmic Ray’s Topping Bar
Although it is not as famous as the Pecos Bill Mile Long Bar, Cosmic Rays still offers visitors the ability to customize their burgers in a way that most quick-service restaurants do not.
Like so many things we love, the COVID-19 pandemic spelled the end of the Cosmic Ray topping bar.
Even as Walt Disney World has largely returned to normal, the condiment bar at Cosmic Rays has still been missing. There may, however, now be hope.
Condiment Pumps Return
When visiting Cosmic Ray’s Starlight Cafe today we noticed that the condiment pumps have returned to the topping bar!
Patrons of Cosmic Ray’s can now pump mustard, ketchup, ranch, mayonnaise, and barbecue sauce to their heart’s content!
Here is another look at the pumps.
While the rest of the topping bar continues to be filed in with single service packets, we are heading in the right direction.
As an aside, the Pecos Bill topping bar remains pump-less. Hopefully, The Mile Long Bar will return sooner rather than later
