Did you know that Disney World isn’t the only place in Central Florida that helps make magical moments for kids and families??

Give Kids The World Village, a nonprofit resort in Kissimmee, Florida (near Orlando), helps give critically ill children and their families the opportunity to take a week-long vacation for free, and we’ve had the privilege of visiting the Village. Now, we’re back for a sneak peek at their new holiday offering!
Holiday VIP Tours
Since 1986, Give Kids The World Village has hosted over 187,000 families, and the space is comprised of 89 acres and 166 private villas, along with a variety of attractions, entertainment, activities, and more.

We were invited to attend a preview of their new Holiday VIP Tours, which will include holiday lights and treats!

Our night started with a train ride over to the media check-in area. (How adorable?!)

We also received a handprint from one of the children invited to the village, Minha Abbas. This served as a powerful reminder of the huge impact this village has in the lives of so many amazing children.

The VIP Guided Tour was an incredible experience! We got to see the bright lights all around the village…

Reserve a VIP Guided Tour
There are 8 dates for the VIP tours, which take place every Friday and Saturday in November and December. All proceeds go to the village, with tickets priced at $59 per person. There will be 12 groups of 25 people each night, so you’ll get an intimate experience!

- Access to select venues on the Avenue of Angels
- Fun props and holiday photo backdrops
- An exclusive behind-the-scenes tour with storytelling

More Holiday Hoppenings at Give Kids The World Village
Aside from the VIP Tours, guests can also take part in the village’s Holiday Soiree on Saturday, November 11! During the event, the Give Kids The World Village will come alive with lights, dinner, live entertainment, silent auctions, music, and more! Holiday Hoppenings
There are also Balcony Dessert Parties available for guests this holiday season. Groups of up to 30 people will be able to view the lights from a balcony overlooking Town Hall–with tons of yummy treats, of course. It also comes with a private tour of the village. Highlighted Fundraisers
Special fundraisers were also highlighted during the event, like the “Heart of Reality” event, which takes place on Saturday, December 9. The fundraiser is comprised of a meet-and-greet during the day and a “decades party” at night.

Another fundraiser that received the spotlight was the “Gingerbread Run”, which is taking place Saturday, February 10th. This Valentine’s Day-themed run allows participants of all ages to follow a 5k or 1-mile family fun run course.

The adrenaline-filled “Go Over the Edge for Give Kids the World” event will take place on Saturday, February 24. The fundraiser gives participants the ability to “rappel down the side of the 32-story Hyatt Regency Orlando” while helping dreams come true for these special kids.

“Playing Fore Wishes” is a fundraising event taking place on Friday, May 3, which allows you to enjoy a day filled with golf while raising funds for this amazing nonprofit.
