Frontierland Construction Wraps Up In the Magic Kingdom
Of all the attractions in the Magic Kingdom, I am always pleasantly surprised that the Frontierland Shootin’ Arcade is still open.
In a world grown increasingly sensitive to anything related to the Old West, the 50-year-old shooting gallery still lets guests old and young take aim at various targets on Boot Hill.

Construction in Frontierland
Earlier this month, Disney appeared to be doing some work on the walkway in front of the Shootin’ Arcade. Portable shrubs and scrim were in the area.
Although the front of the Shooin’ Arcade was blocked off, the attraction remained accessible to guests. The construction also did not affect the boardwalk in front of the building.
That walkway had already been refurbished over the last couple of years.
The Frontierland Shooin’ Arcade Is Open For Business
Well, I am happy to report that as of today, the construction in front of the Frontierland Shootin’ Aracade is complete. The attraction is still operating normally.
If you haven’t taken the time to test your aim at the Shootin’ Gallery, you should!
An Unique Experience
In a Walt Disney World that continues to lean heavily into screens and technology, the physical experience that the Shooin’ Gallery offers is a breath of fresh air.
Be warned, however, that the Shooin’ Gallery will cost you an additional charge. Luckily Disney has plenty of change machines on hand.
As always, be sure to check back with MickeyBlog. We will continue to bring you updates on all the news coming out of the Magic Kingdom.
