NEW EPCOT Reimagined Minnie Ears Have Arrived
It’s been such a long time coming, but we’re so excited to say that the Disney100 celebrations finally arrived at EPCOT this morning — and boy have they started with sparkle!
We’ve already been admiring the glowing platinum décor and the spectacular new Mickey statue, and now our bloggers are eagerly exploring the park, soaking up all the sparkling, celebratory atmosphere.
However, if you’ve been with us here at MickeyBlog for some time, you’ll know that one of our first stops during an EPCOT celebration is always going to be the same. What’s a new occasion without a visit to the Creations Shop, to check out all the new, limited-edition, special event merchandise on offer?
Come with us to the biggest, brightest store in the center of the park, and let’s take a look at what is surely going to be one of the hottest pieces of the celebration… the Minnie Ears! Released as part of the highly-anticipated EPCOT Reimagined line, we’re sure these ears are going to give us all the best nostalgia and magic!

They’re giving EPCOT Reimagined nostalgia, platinum shimmer, and anniversary magic… what’s not to love? Plus, as this pair has been created by the fan-favorite Disney designers over at Loungefly, we are sure they’re bound to be popular. Let’s take a closer look!
So, the ears on this blue headband are crafted from a pearly-white faux leather, and intricately embroidered with a geometric pattern that instantly reminds us of the iconic Spaceship Earth.
How else would you want to celebrate EPCOT, than with its shiniest, and most recognizable landmark?
Looking at the center of the band, where a perfect, must-have Minnie bow sits daintily in the middle. Also sewn from a thick, white fabric, this bow is absolutely covered with tiny EPCOT graphics, each uniquely representing various areas of the newly reimagined park perfectly.
Looking closer, we can see icons inspired by classics such as the EPCOT logo, Figment (and his imagination), and the monorail, with plenty of newer attractions and experiences mixed in between. Can you spot graphics inspired by the newly-opened Journey of Water, Frozen Ever After, or Guardians of the Galaxy: Cosmic Rewind, perhaps?
