Come With Us to Plaza de la Familia at Disney California Adventure!
Halloween has hit the Disneyland Resort and there’s so much to do! How are you going to celebrate the season?
If you were lucky enough to snag a ticket, you can get some spooks at Disney California Adventure’s Halloween party–the Oogie Boogie Bash. Or, you can dig into some tasty seasonal treats sprinkled all throughout the resort. You can board a doom buggy over at Haunted Mansion Holiday and get spooked by the citizens of Halloween Town. Or, you can also visit Plaza de la Familia–which we’re doing today!
Plaza de la Familia
Plaza de la Familia brings Coco to life, providing guests with a huge celebration! Let’s check it out!
There are tons of Coco-inspired decor, including the Marigold bridge, Mama Imelda and Hector…
…sugar skull figurines…
…and Dante!
Miguel meets guests in front of this Recuérdame wall, which features important moments and characters from the movie!
Guests can also do some crafts, like designing their own paper alebrije masks of Dante and Pepita. Over at the Mexican Arbol de la Vida (Tree of Life), guests can use the memory wall to post messages to their loved ones.
There’s also entertainment in the area, like A Musical Celebration of Coco, which celebrates Coco and the beloved music in the film. There are also Mariachi performances that take place frequently in the area!
