Massachusetts Man Wins Lottery — First Stop, Disney World!

A New Hampshire man won the Massachusetts State Lottery’s “$10,000,000 Gold” instant ticket game, and like any of us would do, he is already planning his trip to Walt Disney World.

Justo Rivera of Hudson, New Hampshire, was scanning lottery tickets on the Mass Lottery app when he learned that one of his tickets was a $1 million winner. Amazingly, the lottery tickets were set to expire in two days, so Rivera scanned his tickets just in time.

Justo received the cash option for the prize in the form of a one-time payment of $650,000 before taxes. He says he plans to use his winnings to go to Disney World. Additionally, he says he is going to splurge with his new winnings and “buy Fast Passes.”

I’m sure like me, many of you have dreamed about what you would do if you won the lottery.

Would I move into Golden Oaks? Would I buy an old Haunted Mansion mansion Audio Animatronic? How about joining the DVC? The possibilities are endless.

While I may end up settling on something less grandiose, there is no doubt that just weeks after winning the lottery you would find me eating Beaches and Cream ice cream and sitting at Stormalong Bay. I guess I would also splurge for Disney’s Genie+ service.
