Hulu Orders New Docuseries ‘It’s All Country’
Hulu has ordered a six-episode docuseries titled It’s All Country, which promises to explore “the hottest people, topics and moments in country music by examining the iconic songs and artists that changed the face of country music forever.”
The new show will be hosted by Luke Bryan, who is also producing the docuseries, alongside Peyton Manning. The project will reunite Bryan and Manning, who were paired to host the Country Music Association Awards (CMA) in 2022. The duo will host the awards again this year after proving their on-screen chemistry.
It’s All Country will mark 100 years since the first country music record was made while highlighting the cultural impact and memorable performers and performances that have helped the genre explode in popularity.
The new series will be produced by Omaha Productions, NFL Films, and Walt Disney Television Alternative.
Disney Is Stocking Up On Documentaries
While no airdate has been set for the new docuseries, It’s All Country is the latest in a long line of documentaries ordered by Disney in the last month. Other upcoming Disney+ documentaries include Camden, World War Shoe: Adidas Vs. Puma, and Brawn: The Impossible Formula 1 Story.
With Hollywood still shut down due to the ongoing WGA and SAG-AFTRA strikes, Dinsey may be looking to documentaries and other alternative programming to fill their release schedule.
