‘The Fantastic Four’ Adds Paul Walter Hauser to Its Star-Studded Cast
Emmy-winning actor Paul Walter Hauser is reportedly getting set to join the Marvel Cinematic Universe (MCU) for next year’s The Fantastic Four.
While the exact role that Hauser will be playing has not been divulged, Hauser will be joining a star-studded cast that includes Pedro Pascal (Reed Richards/Mr. Fantastic), Vanessa Kirby (Sue Storm/Invisible Woman), Joseph Quinn (Johnny Storm/Human Torch), and Ebon Moss-Bachrach as (Ben Grimm/the Thing).

Julia Garner is also set to appear in the film as Shalla-Bal, a version of the Silver Surfer.

“Working with Vanessa, Pedro, Ebon, they’re really consummate pros and brilliant in everything they’re in,” Joseph Quinn said earlier this year. “So I’m really looking forward to establishing this familial dynamic with them and with Matt Shakman’s guidance.”
Hauser Will Be Busy
The news that Hauser is joining The Fantastic Four comes hot on the heels of the announcement that he will also be appearing in the upcoming Naked Gun reboot.

He is also signed up to play Chris Farley in the late actor’s authorized biography film, which will be directed by Josh Gad with Lorne Michaels and Erin David producing.
Last but certainly, not least, Hauser will also voicing Embarrassment in Inside Out 2.

The Fantastic Four, meanwhile, is being helmed by WandaVision director Matt Shakman. The film is based on a script by Eric Pearson, Josh Friedman, Jeff Kaplan, and Ian Springer. Production is expected to begin this summer.
The Fantastic Four will hit theaters on July 25, 2025.
