The Tinker Bell Signage Has (Finally) Been Removed From Disney’s Town Square Theater
Disney World has largely returned to normal following the unprecedented changes that took place during the COVID-19 pandemic.
Still, there are still some experiences, operations, and even attractions that have yet to return to normal.
In the last couple of weeks, we have seen some of the last COVID holdouts returned to their pre-pandemic norms when Space Race reopened at Mission: SPACE and seating returned to the Tune-In Lounge at Disney’s Hollywood Studios.
Now, however, I want to turn your attention to the Magic Kingdom, where it looks like a COVID-era change has finally been deemed permanent.
Tinker Bell Has Officially Flown the Coop
As most Walt Disney World fans know, the Town Square Theater in the Magic Kingdom is one of the best places to meet Mickey Mouse.
Prior to the COVID-19 pandemic, however, it also afforded guests the opportunity to meet the ever-popular Tinker Bell.
Tink flew the coop during COVID-19 and never returned. Although it has now been years since Tinker Bell met in the Town Square Theater, the signage related to her meet and greet remained — until now.
All Fairy-Related Signage is Gone
All Tinker Bell signage has now been removed from both the exterior and interior of the Town Square Theater.
In case you were wondering, it doesn’t look like a new character will be moving in. More Mickey signs have simply replaced the old Tinker Bell decor.
Here is a look at the new Mickey-related sign.
The interior of the building has also now changed with the times.
The change-over in signage will not affect how the Town Square Theater runs. It is, however, certainly the end of an era.
