NEWS: Disneyland Suspends All Magic Key Sales
The option to purchase a new Inspire Key has been suspended from Disneyland’s website, meaning that all four Magic Keys are unavailable.
Prior to today, the Believe Key, Enchant Key, and Imagine Key had been designated as “Available for Renewal Only” by Disneyland. With today’s suspension of new Inspire Keys, Disneyland annual passes are only available for those looking to renew.
The Inspire Key Was The Last Remaining Magic Key
The Inspre Key gave holders the ability to enter both Disneyland and/or Disney California Adventure subject to park reservation allocations and applicable pass blackout dates.
Inspire Key holders additionally allowed guests to hold up to 6 theme park reservations at a time, 20% off the purchase of Genie+ service, and unlimited Disney PhotoPass digital photo downloads.
It also gave holders 20% off select merchandise, 15% off select dining, and free standard parking.
The First Complete Suspension of Sales Since May 2022
The last time that Disneyland paused all-new Magic Key sales was in May 2022. Sales resumed in August of that year, and have continued ever since.
Since that time, however, different Magic Keys have been paused, just never all four at the same time.
At this time, it is unknown when Disneyland will restart the sale of new Magic Keys.
Disney Dream Key Settlement Revealed
Interestingly, the latest suspension of sales occurred just as the proposed settlement between former Magic Key holder Jenale Nielsen and Disney was announced.
The terms of the settlement would award each former Dream Key holder approximately $67.41.
