BREAKING: All Dining Coming to the Disney Treasure Cruise Ship
Disney Cruise Line is adding a new ship to its fleet next year — the Disney Treasure! This boat will be themed around adventure.
We already knew the name of the ship and a few small details, but today, we’re finding out a LOT more! So, let’s talk about all of the dining that will be on the Disney Treasure.
Disney Treasure Dining
First up, know that there will be a brand new dining experience — Plaza de Coco. This will be the “first theatrical dining experience themed to the Disney and Pixar film, Coco.” You can read more about it right here!
Just off of the Grand Hall of the ship, there will be two casual walk-up cafes that will serve things like coffee, tea, specialty beverages, and snacks. The cafes will be themed after two adventurous Disney Princesses — Moana and Mulan!
The one themed after Moana is called Heihei Café, which is obviously named after her sidekick and water-prone chicken. The area will be reminiscent of the Southern Pacific Isle of Motunui and “feature furniture stylings that pay homage to a traditional construction technique used by the Polynesian people to craft seafaring vessels.”
The Mulan spot will be called Jade Cricket Café and will honor the Fa Family’s “lucky” cricket, Cri-Kee, who will be present via a jade sculpture on the bar top. The area will also have a central moon gate and plum blossom flowers adorning the walls to represent Mulan’s strength, beauty, and heritage, and the blue walls and metallic counters will remind you of her armor.
The other dining options on the ship have been seen on other Disney Cruise Line vessels. Worlds of Marvel and 1923 will be a part of the family dining rotation (along with Plaza de Coco)…
…and then The Rose, Palo Steakhouse, and Enchanté by Chef Arnaud Lallament will also be available as add-on dining options for adults.
Disney also mentioned a NEW Marvel dining experience will be coming to the ship, but that’s all they could share for now.
Some other places on the ship that will have food and cocktails include Skipper Society, which will be a themed lounge based on Disney Parks’ Jungle Cruise…
…and Periscope Pub, which is Disney Cruise Line’s first venue inspired by Disney’s 20,000 Leagues Under the Sea. Read more about both right here!
There will also be Jumbeaux’s Sweets, which will be reminiscent of the popular ice cream parlor, Jumbeaux Café, from Disney’s “Zootopia.” Read more about the experience right here!
