New Mini Pumpkin Treat Underwhelms in Disney World
It’s September, which means fall is happening in full force at Disney World! Mickey’s Not-So-Scary Halloween Party kicked off last month, pumpkin wreaths are hanging on Main Street, U.S.A., and there is all kinds of festive merchandise.

There are also a ton of new fall-themed treats available across Disney World! So, let’s go check out a new item that was just released.
Mini Pumpkin Mousse
This is the new Mini Pumpkin Mousse! It’s pumpkin mousse with caramel crisp pearls and dulce de leche filling, dipped in an orange chocolate shell for $5.99.
You can get this at Good’s Food to Go at Disney’s Old Key West Resort and The Artist’s Palette at Disney’s Saratoga Springs Resort. We grabbed it over at The Artist’s Palette!
This is definitely a fun treat visually, but how does it taste? Let’s find out!
So, we found that this really just tastes like if you took canned pumpkin and a lot of cinnamon and whipped it up all together. Those are by far the most prominent flavors.
The dulce de leche came through as an aftertaste, which is nice, but we would’ve liked to taste it more throughout the dessert to balance things out.
The caramel crisp pearls weren’t crispy at all. This was disappointing as it would’ve given a nice variation in texture to the treat.
The chocolate shell is nothing special, just your typical chocolate. But, we understand why it was used since it helps create the look of the pumpkin!
Overall, we were pretty underwhelmed. Our reporter even enjoys pumpkin and cinnamon, but this was just too much.
If you’re looking for a pumpkin dessert, we wouldn’t pick this one. Instead, check out all of the other options available around Disney World right here!
This treat is available at Good’s Food to Go and The Artist’s Palette from now through November 30th. Stay tuned for more Disney food news and reviews!
