Coco Chocolate Display Now Up at Grand Californian
Our West Coast MickeyBlogger dropped by Disney’s Grand Californian yesterday to check out a new Coco chocolate display that has been put up in the lobby for the spooky season.
Each Year, Disney’s Grand Californian decorates for Halloween with an incredible edible creation that is nothing short of awe-inspiring. In the past, we’ve seen a spooktacular display featuring Oogie Boogie from Tim Burton’s The Nightmare Before Christmas. This year, we’re excited to see the Coco-themed creation which is perfect for celebrating both Halloween and Dia de los Muertos.
The display was in the process of being built when we popped by yesterday evening. It brings a wonderful and festive splash of color to the Grand Californian lobby.
As you can see, it features Coco with his guitar on the bridge with the vibrant and colorful Land of the Dead behind him.
We aren’t exactly sure what the ingredients were that were used for this stunning creation but those working on setting up the display did confirm that it is all edible!
Once the display is complete, the Grand Californian usually puts up signs listing all of the ingredients that went into the display. We’ll keep you posted.

If you’ll be visiting Disneyland this fall, you’ll definitely want to pop by and see this new lobby display!
With Dia de los Muertos happening at the beginning of November, we suspect that the Coco display will be up at least through early November.
Each year the Grand Californian also does a Gingerbread lobby display for Christmas. It is likely that the Coco display will stay up until they’re ready to swap him out with their holiday creation.
