You Can Now Take a College Class on All Things Disneyland
How would your college GPA have been if you were able to take a college class on all things Disneyland?! I don’t know about you, but I’m sure if I had taken a college class on all things Disneyland, it would have been higher than it was!
Students at the University of California – Irvine are about to get lucky as a “Disneyland: Art, Architecture and Operation” is now an option. The college class on all things Disneyland is being taught by associate professor, Roland Betancourt. Betancourt is a Disneyland expert and can tout over 130 visits, over 600 rides on the Matterhorn, and taken more than 20,000 videos and pictures at the Park.
Betancourt is so good, he can even place his hand on the exterior of the Matterhorn and know exactly where the bobsleds are located at any given time on the ride. This knowledge along with other “inner workings and idiosyncrasies” will be on the syllabus for the college class on all things Disneyland.
The college class on all things Disneyland will be available for the University of California – Irvine students next Spring. And, in case you were wondering, a visit to the park will be included in the curriculum!
