Celebrating 5 Years of Life-Changing Work Through The Disney Aspire Program
Over the past five years, thousands of lives have been transformed because of the Disney Aspire program.
During that time, The Walt Disney Company’s groundbreaking education investment program has been turning dreams into reality for the Cast Members and employees. These, after all, are the same people who create magic for guests around the world.

Helping Those That Make The Magic Happen
For Daniela, Disney Aspire helped her achieve something she never thought was possible — getting a college education.
“Growing up in an immigrant family, I didn’t think attending college was possible,” Daniela said. “The financial burden was always subconsciously there. But when I came to work for Disney that was no longer an issue.”

The program, which is celebrating its fifth anniversary this week, is designed for adults who may be balancing home, family, and work obligations while trying to pursue their education.
Disney Inspire offers a myriad of program options including trades, English language skills, or even earning a high school or college diploma.

Surpassing Goals
Disney started the Disney Aspire program in 2018 with the goal of giving their 90,000 hourly Cast Members and employees the opportunity to get a 100% paid education.
The program initially launched with a commitment of $150 million in five years and has since exceeded that goal in half the time.

As Daniela says, the Disney Aspire program changed her life because “it opened doors of opportunity for me to grow both academically and professionally.”
Following the commemoration of Disney Aspire’s anniversary earlier this week, Bob Iger surprised Cast Members in the program at Disneyland.

Iger initially announced the program in 2018, noting that he “always believed that education is the key to opportunity” and “it opens doors and creates new possibilities.”
Disney Aspire’s Mission Statement
Disney Aspire is dedicated to removing barriers to education and contributing to Disney’s strong pipeline of talent. To do this, the program:

- Offering an enhanced program and degree catalog that aligns with predicted future of work trends
