Walt Disney World to Add ‘Encanto’ Characters to the Skyliner, ‘Coco’ to Buses
Disney is getting ready to add some new characters to the Walt Disney World transportation systems.
The resort will soon decorate Skyliner gondolas with the Madrigal family from Encanto and will be adding Coco characters to select Disney buses.

The changes come as both Encanto and Coco continue to expand their presence in Walt Disney World.
Mirabel and Bruno Are Coming to the Magic Kingdom
Mirabel Madrigal will soon welcome guests to her magical Castillo in Fantasyland, also known as the former location of the Merida meet and greet.
Meanwhile, her uncle Bruno will be joining the park’s Disney Adventure Friends Cavalcade in celebration of Hispanic and Latin American Heritage Month.
Since its 2021 release, Encanto has continued to be one of Disney’s most popular films. As such, it makes sense that Disney would want to expand the movie’s park presence and add its popular characters to the Diseny Skyliner.
‘Coco’ In Walt Disney World
The addition of Coco bus wraps is perhaps a little more surprising. The Pixar classic is now six years old, although it continues to be a fan favorite.
Diseny has continued to infuse EPCOT’s Mexico pavilion with Coco elements, and a new “Poco Loco” scene was added to Mickey’s PhilharMagic last year.

Currently, Walt Disney World has bus wraps for Mickey and friends.
When Will The New Designs Arrive?
As of this writing, we do not have an exact date for when the Encanto Skyliner wrap or Coco bus wraps will arrive at Walt Disney World. Based on past announcements, however, it seems likely that the new transportation designs will debut before Hispanic and Latin American Heritage Month kicks off on September 15.
I would also expect that the Coco bus wrap will remain through at least the end of the celebration (October 15).
