The Silly Symphony was the first DIsney cartoon to use Technicolor and would be given the first ever Academy Award for Best Cartoon Short Subject.
Victory Vehicles Released (1943)
On this day in 1943, Victory Vehicles was released.

On this day in 1948, The Trial of Donald Duck was released.

Mineral Hall Exhibit Opens in Disneyland (1956)
On this day in 1956, the Mineral Hall Exhibit opened in Disneyland.

Flight of the Navigator Released (1986)
On this day in 1986, Flight of the Navigator was released.

Indiana Jones and the Temple of Peril Opens (1993)
On this day in 1993, Indiana Jones and the Temple of Peril opened in Disneyland Paris.

The new roller coaster was based on the popular Indiana Jones franchise, and took guests on an mine train adventure through a lost temple.
The Disney Magic Launches (1998)
On this day in 1998, Disney launches its first cruise ship- The Disney Magic.

At the time of its launch, the Disney Magic was one of the three largest ships in the world.
Rock ‘n’ Roller Coaster Starring Aerosmith Opens (1999)
On this day in 1999, Rock ‘n’ Roller Coaster Starring Aerosmith officially opened to all guests.
The new indoor steel roller coaster features a launch of 0-60 mph in 2.8 and a special created Aerosmith soundtrack.
Space Mountain and Splash Mountain Begin Using FASTPASS (1999)
Also on this day in 1999, Space Mountain and Splash Mountain began using the FASTPASS system.

Christopher Robin Premieres (2018)
On this day in 2018, Christopher Robin premiered in Burbank.

Jungle Cruise Released (2021)
On this day in 2021, Disney’s Jungle Cruise was released in theaters and on Disney+ with Premiere Access.
