How to Celebrate ‘Haunted Mansion’ in the Disney Parks!
Celebrate Haunted Mansion
Walt Disney World
Disney is sharing more about the Hatbox Ghost coming to Disney World’s Haunted Mansion. They said that he will appear in the Endless Hallway!
Disney also mentioned that guests will soon see temporary barriers in the ride as they prepare for the Hatbox Ghost to arrive.
There are some spooky eats and treats at Disney World in celebration of the movie! At Scat Cat’s Club at Disney’s Port Orleans Resort – French Quarter, you’ll find two new items.
First is the Playful Spirits Margarita featuring Patron Silver Tequila with a Fess Parker Big Easy Red floater. The other item are Mickey-shaped Caretakers Beignets dusted with cookies and cream powdered sugar and a ghoulish marshmallow crème drizzle.
Over at Magic Kingdom, you can get the Peanut Butter and Jelly Push Pop with a chocolate tombstone at Sleepy Hollow.
At Columbia Harbor House, you’ll find the Happy Haunts Shake, which is a blackberry shake topped with purple chocolate-glazed doughnut covered with black sprinkles.
And, in The Ganachery at Disney Springs, there are Haunted Mansion Portrait Bars. These chocolate ganache bars have an edible image and come in the flavors pistachio, salted caramel, chipotle, and passion fruit.
At Disneyland Resort, there is a special costume display at the Opera House inside The Disneyland Story presenting Great Moments with Mr. Lincoln. For a limited time, you can see a collection of concept art, props, and costumes from the Haunted Mansion.
You can even see the ornate dress worn by Madame Leota (played by Jamie Lee Curtis) in the movie!
Disney also noted that a similar display of props and costumes will be coming to Walt Disney Presents Theater at Disney’s Hollywood Studios very soon!
We’ve already talked about the festive food now at Disneyland in honor of the movie, but we’ll go over it again!
First up is the Haunted Mansion Inspired Pre-Fixe Menu available at Café Orleans. This menu features the Vanilla Mousse and Seafood Boil.
There is also the April-December Churro at the New Orleans Square Churro Cart. This is a strawberry-flavored sugar with fresh strawberries, purple cherry sugar, freeze-dried strawberries, and donut icing drizzle.

Haunted Mansion Sea Turtles
The Disney Conservation Fund and Disney Cruise Line (in partnership with the Sea Turtle Conservancy) are each sponsoring a sea turtle in honor of the movie! Madame Leota and Harriet are being tracked using satellite telemetry to determine how far and where sea turtles swim during their annual migration.
The turtle to swim the furthest distance will win the Tour de Turtles! Disney says that the data collected during Tour de Turtles helps researchers, conservationists, and governing agencies make more informed decisions about sea turtle conservation methods and policies across Florida.
