What We Tried
First, we tried the China duck bao bun! Our reporter shared that this is super soft and delicious and comes with a nice breading. It’s a generous portion of duck also and the sauce is sweet.
This is enjoyable and pretty decent for the price ($8.25).
We also got the Dandan Noodles for $8.25. MickeyBlogger Madison tried these and was confused because this is literally linguine pasta, not a type of Chinese noodles.
You have to mix everything together when you get the dish because the sauce and pork are all sitting on top. This dish would be good if you made it at home with the pasta you had in your pantry, but we were expecting more of a chewy noodle that you’d find at a typical Chinese restaurant.
The sauce is very peanut-forward and the pork has a nice amount of spice that’s not too overwhelming. However, we wouldn’t order this again unless they changed the noodles.
Next, we tried the Fiery Dream! This is a delicious and colorful cocktail — perfect for a hot day.
“This is a very lightly sweet cocktail and you get the orange… and mango is definitely prominent here. This is a great drink and the alcohol is super subtle. I enjoyed this! Would get again.” Get it for $13.75.
