See the Walt Disney World Monorail Lit Up in Patriotic Red, White, and Blue!
Happy Fourth of July, friends!
The most patriotic of holidays has come around once more, and we couldn’t be happier to be celebrating with you here from Walt Disney World!
Last night, on July 3rd, our MickeyBloggers were reporting live from the Magic Kingdom, sharing the star-spangled nighttime spectacular of fireworks and festivities on our social channels for all to enjoy.
If you missed our video of the experience, you can catch up here – it’s simply unmissable!
Once the fireworks were finished, however, the patriotic party was far from over. Even while leaving the park, we were completely swept away by the celebratory details, with one particular touch we loved coming from the Walt Disney World Monorail system…
Here, we’re over at the Disney Transportation and Ticketing Center, where guests traveling to the Magic Kingdom or Epcot will park up to catch a ferry boat or monorail transfer.
Despite it being late at night, with nothing much but onward travels going on, we’re thrilled to see that glorious patriotic decorations are still to be found here, lighting the way for guests still in that celebratory mood!
Above, you can see that this swanky and recently refurbished Monorail sign is being under-lit by an LED light strip, which alternates between red, white, and blue. So fitting for the 4th of July!
Although this décor may not be quite as regal as the trimmings installed throughout the Magic Kingdom itself, we’re still so impressed to see fun touches of red, white, and blue at every turn during our Disney day out.
Especially now today is the actual 4th of July, we can’t wait to see what other fun experiences the resort has in store for us!
As well as the lit-up signage around the TTC, we were also very excited to see the monorails themselves were also shooting past with snazzy, celebratory lighting underneath.
Above, you can see Monorail Red lit up in red, then changing to blue in the photo beneath!
A Disney monorail is always the most stylish way to travel, don’t you think?
If you enjoyed this look at the holiday-ready TTC, be sure to stay tuned to MickeyBlog and our social media channels all throughout the 4th of July for all the best coverage from the Walt Disney World celebrations.
We’re talking limited-time treats, special occasion entertainment, character meets, and more – and we can’t wait to have you along with us!
